Celebra connosco o Día Europeo das Linguas!

Os 47 estados membros do Consello de Europa animan a máis de 800 millóns de europeos e europeas a aprenderen máis linguas a calquera idade, dentro e fóra da escola. Convencido de que a diversidade lingüística é unha ferramenta para lograr unha maior comprensión intercultural e un elemento clave na rica herdanza cultural do noso continente, o Consello de Europa promove o plurilingüismo en toda Europa. 
Por iniciativa do Consello de Europa en Estrasburgo, o Día Europeo das Linguas vénse celebrando, desde 2001, o 26 de setembro de cada ano.


The EDL language challenge

This year we are inviting everyone to participate in a language challenge around the European Day of Languages! 
The 51 challenges contained within the handbook encourage learners to go a little outside their comfort zone and take advantage of the plentiful opportunities available to practice or learn more about a language beyond a classroom context. Find out more

2018's 'most innovative event' is “The doorway to the world” from Poland!

2019 - International Year of Indigenous Languages

Languages play a crucial role in the daily lives of people, not only as a tool for communication, education, social integration and development, but also as a repository for each person’s unique identity, cultural history, traditions and memory. But despite their immense value, languages around the world continue to disappear at an alarming rate.With this in mind, the United Nations declared 2019 The Year of Indigenous Languages (IY2019) in order to raise awareness of them, not only to benefit the people who speak these languages, but also for others to appreciate the important contribution they make to our world’s rich cultural diversity.
