EDL at POLO3

Language Day, 26 sen 2025, Galatina, Italy

The students formed a cheerful and colourful procession through the city, greeting passersby and motorists in several languages, until they reached the main square. Here, they formed a "Human bridge", symbolizing the meaning of the song "Voices of Europe". After singing songs in both foreign languages and sign language, they performed a flash mob for peace. Shortly thereafter, in the courtyard of the Municipal library, they carried out activities such as reproducing paintings by European artists, putting together puzzles featuring the map and flag of Europe, creating bookmarks with the EDL motto to give to citizens, making 3D models of several European monuments, performing the "Morris Dance", and surveying residents and tourists about their experience with foreign languages.
