 School project, 03 okt 2025 - 03 okt 2025, Serres, Grækenland

It's about a school activity among Praxis' educators and team and the french language teacher of 19th primary school of Serres, Matoula Makrypoulia. In this activity students will meet international young people who belongs in the ESC volunteering team of Praxis' organisation and talk about other languages and their cultures. Through interactive games, based also on non-formal education Greek yound students will experience the uniqueness of different languages and the importantce of knowning how to communicate with different speakers as well as the importance of translation. Above all through this educational workshop young kids will also learn and live the meaning of non- discrimination and the mutual respect in society.

It can be challenging to organise events that are fun, inclusive, have an educational element and motivate a large number of people. Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
