During this week our school will carry out a series of activities, through which students will be engaged into the importance of language learning and protecting the linguistic heritage. From the official European Day of Languages website, we are going to play games and answer quizzes. Creating our own puzzles and crosswords is also part of our activities. As a final activity students will play an escape game prepared especially for the day.

Struggling to find ideas for an event for this year’s European Day of Languages? It can be challenging to organise events that are fun, inclusive, have an educational element and motivate a large number of people. Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
