EDL Promptathon – European Day of Languages 2025. The EDL Promptathon is an innovative competition where participants explore how AI and prompt engineering can accelerate language learning and intercultural exchange. In a timed challenge, learners and teachers collaborate with AI tools to generate vocabulary, dialogues, and creative tasks across European languages. The event promotes multilingualism, creativity, and digital skills, making language learning more engaging and future-oriented.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
