LinguaFest 2025-Languages: Where Thought Meets Emotion

Linguafest 2025 is a partnership between local educational institutions to promote linguistic and cultural diversity, encouraging language learning at all ages. all local partner institutions will conduct the same thematic workshops between 08.00-14.00 and will share the results on padlet, in real time. Topics: • Class 1 – “Say Hello to the World” –Official opening • Language facts • Lingvistic Tandem, Class 2 – Quiz Masters- Language Games & Challenges. • European Languages Kahoot/Quiz, • Lingvistique Escape Room, • Cultural Food Fair, Class 3– “Speak More, Connect More”- Language Games & Challenges • “Guess the Language” (audio clips). • Tongue-twister contest in different European languages. • Speed challenge, Class 4– “Unlock the World: Learn a Language, Open a Door” – Short Drama/Sketches • “Language Gallery Walk” –virtual visit • Perform mini-sketches in different European languages (with English subtitles or narration). • Self-evaluate your language skills, Class 5 – “Your Voice, Global Impact” - Music & Poetry Workshop to create (and perform) a multilingual anthem for the 25th anniversary of the European Day of Languages!,Class 6 – “Languages for Life: Skills that Go Beyond Words”- Closing Celebration-a final showcase: gallery walk, quiz finals, food tasting, and performances.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.
