“Unity in Diversity – European Day of Languages at Laurian”

August Treboniu Laurian High School, Agnita, celebrates the European Day of Languages with a special event dedicated to the richness of Europe’s linguistic and cultural heritage. Students will showcase diversity through: interactive presentations on European languages and cultures, posters and visual displays created by students, a thematic exhibition highlighting traditions, customs, and unique expressions from different countries. The event aims to promote openness to other cultures, respect for diversity, and awareness of the importance of learning foreign languages in today’s interconnected world.

Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
