A Journey of Love Through Languages

 Language Day, 28 ira. 2025 - 30 ira. 2025, SAVALIA, Greece

A Journey of Love Through Languages On this special day, the children were informed by their English teacher that Greece is a small country, part of Europe—a continent with many different countries, each with its own language and flag. They learned that in order to communicate with people from other countries, we need to know their languages. Using a map and a small toy car, we “travelled” to countries that the children had heard of before. Our goal was to learn how to say “I love you” in the language of each country we visited. We started with Albania—we located it on the map, looked at its flag, named its colors in English, and learned how to say “I love you” in Albanian: Te dua. Then we continued our journey to France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and England, doing the same for each country: discovering the flag, naming the colors, and learning how to say “I love you” in the local language. 🎨 At the end of our journey, the children worked in groups of three to draw the flags and write “I love you” in the different languages. All the drawings were combined into one big collaborative poster. Our message: “Languages open the heart and the mind, carried by the love of people.”
