LANGUAGES UNITE HEARTS AND MINDS

 Language festival, 22 Sep 2025 - 26 Sep 2025, Bodrum/ Muğla, Türkiye

As Bodrum Anadolu Lisesi, we are going to organize some activities to emphasize the importance of different languages. First, our school logo has been prepared . Next,school bulletin boards have been prepared by our students. Then 9th grade students have prepared short videos in European languages to celebrate this. Our AFS student from Italy is going to give a presentation about his country , culture and language . Some games like '' wordwall'' are going to be played. A scrabble tournament is going to be held among 9th graders. Finally there will be a karoeke contest with students from different classrooms in our school activity hall.

Struggling to find ideas for an event for this year’s European Day of Languages? It can be challenging to organise events that are fun, inclusive, have an educational element and motivate a large number of people. Vote for this year’s most innovative event!  

To add a further element of spice to the Day, anyone visiting the website can vote for what they regard as the most innovative EDL event. This can be due to its creativity, transferability or just because it truly represents the spirit of the Day. Voting will be open for one month, from 20 September – 20 October, with the winner to be announced in December. There will be a small prize for the organizer of the event which receives the most votes.

The event received 1900+ votes and was organised by Lycée Alfred Mézières de Longwy, France.
