European Languages Festival Week

During the European Day of Languages week, our students will engage in various interactive and educational activities designed to foster language awareness and celebrate linguistic diversity. Students will explore the significance of the day and participate in tasks such as designing flags of European countries, researching animal sounds in different languages, and discovering interesting facts and greetings from various nations using digital tools. Additionally, they will create identity cards of famous individuals from European countries, collaborate on visual clues to identify locations across Europe, and reflect on the importance of languages through fun, hands-on projects like writing "I love you" in multiple languages. These activities aim to enhance language skills, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation in a creative and collaborative environment. For our 10th-grade Spanish students, we're adding a special language and cultural activity related to Teatro La Zarzuela. They will have a virtual live visit with a representative from the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, who will explain the origins of zarzuela, how this unique form of theater is celebrated in Spain and other countries, and share insights into the cultural significance of Teatro La Zarzuela. Furthermore, all middle and high school students are encouraged to prepare posters for a competition organized as part of European Language Day. Information about the competition has been shared with them, and they will be submitting their creative posters throughout the week. Finally, on September 26th, we will host the “Türkçeyi En Doğru Sen Kullanırsın” competition for grades 6 through 12. This online competition will be conducted via Google Forms, and only tablets are allowed.

Проголосуйте за самое новаторское мероприятие!  

Каждый посетитель сайта может выбрать понравившееся ему мероприятие и проголосовать за него как за самое новаторское. Это может быть на основе его креативности, передаваемости или просто потому что действительно отражает дух Дня.
