  1. Please keep in mind that the design should be about languages, not countries. So please don't use flags or similar.
  2. You can use up to 3 colours. Keep in mind that we need a simple design that is not too complex or that has small details. This will increase printing quality.

EDL T-shirt contest winner 2025

The winner of the 2024 EDL T-shirt contest is 2025 is Naile Begaj (Greece). Congratulations!

While I was designing this logo, I had the terms "communication" and "peace" in mind. The green speech bubble symbolises "communication" and the pigeon is a symbol of "peace". Both of them aim at showing that language learning promotes cultural awareness, respect and friendship. This competition encouraged me and my classmates to think about the benefits of speaking many languages and getting to know many cultures. As our teacher keeps saying "The more languages you speak, the more people you reach!" - Naile Begaj, 12

Previous winners

We would like to thank everyone who entered the competition. With so many excellent designs among the over 2,000 entries received, it was an extremely difficult task to select just one winner this year!
